Maladroit is Weezer's fourth studio album, self-produced and released in 2002. It's the first to feature bassist Scott Shriner, and it pushes the band toward heavier, metal-tinged guitar riffs uncommon in their earlier work. The album was famously workshopped in public, with the group posting demos online and trading feedback with fans throughout the sessions. Singles "Dope Nose" and "Keep Fishin'" lead the way.
