Purple Noon is the fourth album from Washed Out, the project of Atlanta-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ernest Greene, and marks his return to Sub Pop. Greene wrote, recorded and produced the album himself, with mixing by frequent collaborator Ben H. Allen. The most accessible Washed Out creation to date, it brings the vocals front and center with slower tempos, bolder beats, and a richer depth of dynamics.
