Into the Great Wide Open is the eighth studio album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, released in 1991 and the band's last with MCA Records. Petty's second album produced with Jeff Lynne after the success of Full Moon Fever, it yielded the hit "Learning to Fly" — one of his longest-running #1 singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart — along with the title track and "Kings Highway."
