The Score is the second and final studio album by hip hop trio Fugees, released February 13, 1996 on Columbia. Produced largely by the group themselves with Jerry Duplessis, it fused alternative hip hop, soul, and reggae into a sound that defined the mid-'90s. The album topped the Billboard 200, sold six-times platinum, and spawned the hits "Killing Me Softly," "Fu-Gee-La," and "Ready or Not." It is widely cited among the greatest hip hop albums of all time.
