"La Chiesa" (The Church) was directed in 1989 by Michele Soavi and produced by Italian horror master Dario Argento, who also co-wrote the story and screenplay. The soundtrack pairs Keith Emerson and Goblin, blending classical, prog rock, and electronic textures into a late-period Italian horror masterpiece. Emerson leans heavily on church organ, echoing his work on Argento's INFERNO, while Goblin deliver the bombastic electro-prog sound they had spent two decades perfecting.
