The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is the second album by The Black Crowes, released May 12, 1992, and the first to feature guitarist Marc Ford. Named after an 1835 shape-note hymnal, it topped the Billboard 200 and produced four Album Rock Tracks No. 1 singles — "Remedy," "Thorn in My Pride," "Sting Me" and "Hotel Illness." This double-vinyl pressing spreads the album across four sides.
