2LP, 180 Gram Vinyl, Remastered from Original Analog Tapes

The Allman Brothers Band's third album, released in 1972 and produced by Tom Dowd, Eat a Peach blends studio recordings with electrifying selections from the band's famed 1971 Fillmore East run. It was the final album to feature founder and guitarist Duane Allman, who died in a motorcycle accident during its making, and it includes the sprawling "Mountain Jam" alongside enduring favorites "Melissa," "Blue Sky" and "One Way Out." The album was an immediate success, reaching #4 on the Billboard Top 200 and later certified platinum. This reissue was remastered from the original analog tapes by Kevin Reeves to 192kHz/24-bit and cut using Abbey Road's Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) lathe.
