Tetrao Urogallus present their eponymous proto-metal, psychedelic funk debut on Color Red. The album's title is Latin for 'wood grouse,' and every track is named for a Latin term for flora and fauna, evoking the gloomy forest atmosphere through which the capercaillie makes its daily rounds. Collaborators David Nesselhauf and Dennis Rux pursue their love of dark sounds, fuzzy guitars and captivating brass throughout.
