The End of Radio (2019) collects two previously unreleased BBC Radio Peel Sessions recorded ten years apart. The 1994 session was cut at BBC Maida Vale Studio 3 and first aired on John Peel's BBC Radio One show that July; the 2004 "Live From Maida Vale" session was recorded live to stereo before a small audience and aired that December. Shellac is the Chicago trio of Steve Albini (guitar/vocals), Bob Weston (bass/vocals) and Todd Trainer (drums/vocals) — self-described as a "minimalist rock trio."
