Signals was the ninth studio album by Rush, released in 1982 as the follow-up to the hugely successful Moving Pictures. The album continued the band's foray into the technology-oriented 1980s with increased use of synthesizers, sequencers and electric violin, alongside shorter, more compressed songs. It reached #10 on the Billboard album charts and was certified platinum in November 1982.
