The Getaway is the eleventh studio album by Red Hot Chili Peppers, released in 2016. It marked a major shift in approach as Danger Mouse took over production duties from longtime producer Rick Rubin, the band's first non-Rubin album since 1989's Mother's Milk. Featuring the singles "Dark Necessities" and "The Getaway," the record showcases the lineup of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
