Following the critical acclaim of their 1980 debut Gyrate, Athens, Georgia post-punk pioneers Pylon returned to the studio and gleefully pulled their songs apart, reassembling them in new shapes as a band of self-proclaimed non-musicians who had grown into real ones. The result was Chomp. More than three decades later, the album has been remastered from the original audio tapes and reissued by New West Records.
