Curated with help from Petty's family, bandmates, and collaborators, the tracks were drawn from sessions with co-producer Rick Rubin and offer deep insight into the writing and recording of the original album. Produced by longtime engineer and co-producer Ryan Ulyate from 245 reels of 24-track tape.
