Particularly focused on Duke Ellington compositions, the album swings with the easy authority of a group at the peak of its powers and features the earliest recorded version of Peterson's own beloved "Hymn to Freedom." Recorded at Radio Recorders Studio, Hollywood, December 16, 1962.
