The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein is Parliament's 1976 concept album, expanding George Clinton's sprawling P-Funk mythology with the larger-than-life Dr. Funkenstein character. Featuring horn arrangements by ex-James Brown sideman Fred Wesley, it spawned the hits "Do That Stuff" and "Dr. Funkenstein" and became Parliament's second gold record. Deep, theatrical funk at the height of the band's powers.
