Narrow Birth is the 2016 debut album from Pale Dian — the Austin, Texas trio of Ruth Ellen, DK, and Nicholas Volpe — who rose from the ashes of their previous project Blackstone Rngrs into smudgier, noisier dreampop terrain. The record explores power and weakness, birth and decay, beauty and abrasiveness, taking its title from the fragility and randomness of existence itself.
