Peace Trail is a 2016 album of all-new Neil Young songs, primarily acoustic and intimate across its ten tracks. Recorded at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios, it features Young on vocals and guitar, Jim Keltner on drums and Paul Bushnell on bass, produced by Young and John Hanlon. Several of its songs previewed at the Desert Trip Festival drew praise as "explosive."
