Mudhoney's self-titled debut took the snarl of their landmark "Touch Me I'm Sick" single and stretched it across a full album of scuzzy, garage-punk fury. A foundational record of the Sub Pop scene, it helped define the sound that would soon become grunge, powered by Mark Arm's howl and Steve Turner's wah-soaked guitar.
