Miles in the Sky is Miles Davis' fifth and final album with his classic second quintet, and his first venture toward what would become fusion — notable for the debut appearances of electric piano, bass and guitar on a Davis record. Kaleidoscopic and forward-looking, it features Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams and guest guitarist George Benson on "Paraphernalia." This Mobile Fidelity hybrid SACD is mastered from the original master tapes.
