Artist-Approved Expanded Edition Hybrid SACD — Mastered Direct-to-DSD From the Original Master Tapes

Intervention Records reintroduces Matthew Sweet's 1991 power-pop classic Girlfriend on hybrid CD/SACD. Alongside the original album's 15 tracks, this Expanded Edition adds three demos not on the original release: "Good Friend," "Superdeformed" and "Teenage Female." Fifteen of the eighteen tracks are mastered Direct-to-DSD from the original analog master tapes by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound, with the three demo tracks mastered to DSD from the original DAT files. The album art is restored by Tom Vadakan and housed in a super jewel box.
