Born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1949, Lamont Butler is the son of well-known gospel, blues and R&B singer and pianist Clifford Butler Sr. After cutting his teeth with groups like The Enterprise and The Dynamics, he went solo with Lamont Butler and The Spirit of Truth. His only official album release, It's Time for a Change, has long been a favorite among record collectors worldwide. This long-overdue reissue was remastered by Nick Robbins at Sound Mastering and features an in-depth sleeve.
