Limited vinyl reissue of this soul-jazz classic, released to coincide with Blue Note's 75th Anniversary celebration. Recorded in 1965, Let 'Em Roll teams Hammond B-3 organ master Big John Patton with guitarist Grant Green, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson and drummer Otis Finch. A major figure in soul jazz and an inspiration to the later acid-jazz movement, Patton brings a minimalist, blues-rooted groove throughout.
