Hollis Brown's In The Aftermath is the deliciously raucous result of an all-night, whiskey-fueled session in the Poconos, in which the Queens, New York quintet ran down the Rolling Stones' 1966 classic Aftermath live in the studio with minimal overdubs. The second entry in the band's casual homage series (following Gets Loaded, their take on the Velvet Underground), it's potent proof they're one of the last great American rock 'n' roll bands. Released via Cool Green Recordings, an imprint of Mascot Label Group.
