The highly unusual style of Harry Nilsson resists pigeonholing — satirical, catchy pop songs composed with the sparkling eye of a cynic and the tearful eye of a nostalgic. His cultivated, astonishingly supple voice basks in bittersweet phrases aided by elaborate string and wind arrangements. Several of "Aerial Ballet"'s wonderfully fresh numbers reached the charts: "Everybody's Talkin'" became world-famous through the film "Midnight Cowboy" and brought Nilsson his first Grammy, while "One" soared to the Top Ten. This Speakers Corner LP was remastered using pure analogue components only, from the master tapes through to the cutting head.
