F#A#∞ is the debut studio album by Canadian post-rock collective Godspeed You! Black Emperor, first released in 1997 by Constellation Records. Recorded at the Hotel2Tango in Montreal's Mile End, the album is almost entirely instrumental, building lengthy compositions segmented into movements with sweeping dynamics. Originally issued in very limited quantities and spread by word of mouth, it has become a landmark of the genre.
