Reissued to coincide with the album's 25th anniversary, New Miserable Experience is the 1992 breakthrough from Tempe's Gin Blossoms. Released at first to little fanfare, it climbed to multi-platinum status on the strength of "Hey Jealousy," "Found Out About You," "Until I Fall Away," and "Allison Road," becoming one of the defining jangle-pop records of the '90s. Its legacy is shadowed by guitarist Doug Hopkins, who wrote several of its key songs.
