Released in 1981, Somewhere In England was the first Harrison album issued after the death of his former Beatles bandmate John Lennon. After Warner Bros. rejected his original 1980 recordings as too laid back, Harrison reworked the album, retaining the pointed "Blood From A Clone" and reshaping the unfinished "All Those Years Ago" into a heartfelt tribute to Lennon. That single, featuring backing vocals from Paul and Linda McCartney and Denny Laine, became his biggest hit since "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)."
