After Nigerian police tried to frame this independent-minded rascal by planting a joint at his home — which he swiftly swallowed — they jailed Fela to recover the evidence from his stool. He escaped charges through some wily plotting and then recorded this track mocking the police for wasting resources harassing him instead of furthering justice in Nigeria. Opening brass rounds give way to interplay between Fela's narration and the responses of his female singers.
