Released in 1987, Live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra captures Elton John performing with a full orchestra at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 14 December 1986. Conducted and arranged by James Newton Howard, the concert closed his Tour de Force run through Australia and was the last to feature his legendary stage costumes. It was also his final show before throat surgery, making this a poignant document of an era.
