Labyrinthitis is Destroyer's thirteenth album, written largely in 2020 and recorded the following spring with frequent collaborator John Collins. Dan Bejar winds through unfamiliar, dance-floor-adjacent territory, drawing on disco, Art of Noise, and New Order while keeping his singular lyrical voice intact. The result is one of his most adventurous and rhythmically driven records.
