On the sunset eve of the sixties, Coven struck the first chords of major-label satanic rock — instantly infamous as the first to put the words "Ave Satanas" on record, and opening their 1969 debut with a song called "Black Sabbath" (their bassist was named Oz Osborne, pictured making the first documented sign of the horns). This faux-velvet box with golden hot-foil embossment, limited to 1,000 copies, gathers the magick of Coven across five 180g LPs: the three classic-era albums — Witchcraft Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls, Coven, and Blood on the Snow — with revised and enhanced layouts, plus a Rarities LP of previously unreleased tracks and demos and an Esoterica LP of magickal spells from singer Jinx Dawson.
