Recorded as the lineup shifted — founding bassist Holger Czukay stepped back while Rosko Gee and Reebop Kwaku Baah (both from Traffic) moved to the fore — the album leans into funk and global rhythms, an outlier in the Can discography that was unavailable in any official format for decades.
