Cheshire Cat is the debut studio album by Blink-182, recorded at Westbeach Recorders in Los Angeles and released in February 1995 through San Diego independent label Cargo Music. Cut under tight financial constraints by the trio of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Scott Raynor, it captures the irreverent, hook-filled pop-punk that built their early live reputation. The band was originally billed simply as Blink, adding "-182" after an Irish group of the same name threatened legal action.
