Rubber Factory is the third studio album by The Black Keys, self-produced and released September 7, 2004 on Fat Possum Records. Recorded in an abandoned tire factory in their hometown of Akron, Ohio, it was the band's first album to reach the Billboard 200 and a critical breakthrough, featuring "10 A.M. Automatic," "Girl Is on My Mind" and a cover of The Kinks' "Act Nice and Gentle."
