This 1963 set marked Bill Evans' final album for Riverside and his only recording with the excellent but short-lived trio featuring Chuck Israels on bass and L.A. drummer Larry Bunker. Recorded live over two nights at Shelly Manne's Hollywood club, the trio performs a selection of standards with the melodic, sensitive touch that continues to influence jazz pianists today.
