The debut full-length from Bikini Kill, originally released in 1993 on Kill Rock Stars. The band — Kathleen Hanna (vocals), Tobi Vail (drums), Billy Karren (guitar) and Kathi Wilcox (bass) — helped instigate the Riot Grrrl movement of the early '90s through their political lyrics, zines and confrontational live shows. The album includes "Rebel Girl," later listed at #27 on Rolling Stone's "Most Excellent Songs of Every Year Since 1967."
