Few artists are storytellers as deft and disarmingly observational as Andy Shauf. The Toronto-based, Saskatchewan-raised musician wrote, performed, arranged, and produced every song on Wilds at his studio in the west end of Toronto. The album collects songs from the same sessions that produced 2020's acclaimed The Neon Skyline — material that had its own singular identity apart from that record, though he revisits old friends Judy and Jeremy along the way.
