Across eight original compositions, the album sounds both like an unearthed masterpiece from Ayers' classic 1970s Polydor period and something startling and new. Guests include drummer Greg Paul, vocalists Loren Oden and Joy Gilliam, and Tribe Records' Phil Ranelin and Wendell Harrison.
