Karma for Cheap is Aaron Lee Tasjan's third album and his second for New West Records. Co-produced by Tasjan with Jeff Trott and Gregory Lattimer and recorded with his touring band, it marks a significant departure from his earlier country-leaning work, trading in rocked-up, Brit-pop-influenced Beatles-Bowie-Badfinger hooks. The result is his most sophisticated and melodic set yet.
